Sweet Dreams Kitty Card

Hello Crafty friends,

This is Monica here again bringing another project featuring the Furry Dreams stamp set which I think is super versatile. This time, it was the turn for the lovely kitty image.

To start, I stamped my images on thick white cardstock, coloured them with alcohol markers and used the matching die to cut them out. I used the mini slimline set 1 and cut out a piece of textured white cardstock, lightly inked the centre in pink and adhered the kitty, the pillow and the little mouse to it.  I also stamped the zzzz directly on top of the kitty. Then I set aside this piece.

The main panel was made by adhering a layer of light gray cardstock on top of an A2 card base, and another piece of Studio Katia pink Polka Dot paper, that I inked around the edges with a darker pink ink and added to the side of the main panel. Then I adhered the mini slimline panel to the other side of the card base. This allowed me to show most of this cute pattern paper. I stamped a sentiment from the same set on black cardstock, using white embossing powder and heat setting it, cut it into a thin strip and added it at the bottom of the images. To finalize this card, I glued a few silver foiled pearls on the white and on the pink panel.

Gray and pink is such a classic combo and it goes with a variety of themes. I love how these colours complement each other. As you see, this card was very easy to put together. My idea was to show that a nice card doesn’t have to be too intricate.

I hope you feel inspired by this project and this cute stamp set.
