Snowflakes and Glitter

Hello friends!

Snowflakes and glitter are as festive as they can be. I had in mind a monochromatic card for a while, and I thought this was the perfect theme for it.

I used the Snowflake Shaker and the Ornament Shaker dies to create this sparkly card. I started by trimming a panel from white textured cardstock and applied thick  layers of glitter paste over the Snow Magic stencil. From the same cardstock, I cut off the dies and added a couple of layers for dimension. To the large snowflake, I added a few drops of liquid glue and dipped it in Chunky glitter. Once all the elements had dried, I assembled them together on the stenciled panel. I adhered a layer of glitter cardstock on an A2 cardbase, and mounted the main panel on top.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Bright Wreath set, trimmed it and  foam mounted on the panel. Finally, I added a few iridescent pearls for even more sparkle.

This is a simple card, but the glitter and the beautiful dies make it really catchy. Another plus is that it’s fairly easy and fast to make, ideal for making several at a time. I hope you enjoy this project.

Thanks for visiting, see you next time!!
