Colourful Doggy Balloons
Hello crafty friends,
I’m super excited about today’s project because it features one of my favourite stamps from the newest release. This doggy balloon is seriously so cute!!!
I stamped the image on heavy white cardstock and coloured them with alcohol markers. I added a few highlights with a white gel pen, used the matching die to cut them out and set aside.
On a piece of white textured cardstock, I inked with different colours using the Chunky Sprinkles stencil and then went over it with glitter paste and let it dry.
On another piece of a very light pink cardstock I opened an oval shape window, I then trimmed the panel to a 4 X 5 ¼” leaving the oval slightly offset to the top and inked the edges with a light pink ink.
The sentiment is from the same set. I stamped it on white cardstock blending different ink colours, added glitter embossing powder and heat set.
To assemble the card, I adhered the sprinkles panel at the centre of an A2 card base. I then adhered the pink panel on top and arranged the images around the oval opening. I glued a string of coloured twine to each balloon and tied them at the bottom with a bow. Then, I adhered the sentiment to the centre of the oval.
To finish this card, I added several of the Puffy Stars embellishments, so cute!
I played around with this stamp using different colouring techniques and I’ll be showing them on our socials. I hope you enjoy this project and that it makes you excited about this release.
